- Name: Katrina
I am a wife and the mother of five children. I have been home educating our children all of their lives and have launched the first one to college. There are many other things about me that you might learn if you read my posts. But I don't know what else to put here.

I love this shot Katrina. I have been enjoying your birds!
I am so jealous of those of you who have colorful birds in your backyards! My mother and I were just talking about this last weekend. We've always loved birdwatching, but many (most) of the colorful birds often seen in the Eastern U.S. aren't out here. This is a lovely picture!

Really nice capture! To get both the male and the female at the same time is wonderful.
